London [07\/10\/2025]:<\/em><\/strong> Newton, the strategic delivery consultancy working with clients to unlock complex challenges and deliver meaningful impact, has announced the appointment of Tony Ward as a Senior Partner in its consumer goods and retail team. Tony will be based in Chicago.<\/p>\n

Newton works with leading organisations across consumer, defence, infrastructure, and public sectors to deliver transformation with a lasting, competitive edge. The retail and consumer goods business – which totals more than 150 consultants – works with global organisations to drive significant financial performance improvement, and deliver new sources of revenue growth and sustainable value. By taking a unique approach which is data-driven, forensically detailed, digitally enabled, and human-powered, Newton plays a critical role in large scale, complex, transformation programmes.<\/p>\n

Now, the business is looking to utilise its expertise and experience to further enhance its services to global consumer goods and retail businesses across North America.<\/p>\n

Spearheading this expansion, Tony brings over 30 years of knowledge and skills from his time in the industry. Most recently, he was a Partner within the Consumer sector and North America Supply Chain Leader for Retail at Ernst and Young. His previous roles include Managing Director \u2013 Retail Strategy at Accenture, with a focus on global strategy, growth, and innovation, and Senior Partner at Kurt Salmon Associates responsible for North America retail and consumer products.<\/p>\n

Tony\u2019s appointment completes a trio of senior hires within Newton\u2019s Consumer team this year, having appointed Harmen van Os as a Consumer Goods Partner in July, and Wil Schoenmakers as Global Head of Retail and Consumer Goods in February.<\/p>\n
