Edie studied a maths degree but wasn\u2019t inspired by the idea of sitting behind a desk crunching numbers. She loved drama subjects and finding ways to connect with people. And after discovering the consultant role , she knew that a career at Newton was the right fit for her to apply those skills.<\/p>\n

Those communication and collaboration skills have continued to push Edie\u2019s career forward, as she partners with clients across multiple projects to deliver meaningful impact.<\/p>\n

\u201cI most recently worked with a regulated utilities company to help them improve their business processes. Our solutions achieved real positive change, and part of that included reducing their environmental impact. It was really rewarding to work on.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

But for Edie, it\u2019s not just about delivering impact for businesses. It\u2019s also about the people working within them. Building trusting relationships with them is what she enjoys most.<\/p>\n

\u201cI once worked with an engineering company where employees were frustrated, they weren\u2019t very engaged and there was maybe a lack of trust. But we took them along the journey, involved them in the process and by the end they were so much more engaged. We felt trusted.
