Agata Ramallo Garcia from Target\u00a0advised retailers to\u00a0know what customers\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">most care<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0about before introducing any and every solution.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559739&quot;:160,&quot;335559740&quot;:301}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Above all, if\u00a0there was one word that dominated conversations (beside \u201cDeadpool\u201d), it was \u201cAI\u201d.\u00a0From frictionless check-out to immersive in-store experiences,\u00a0it\u2019s\u00a0being used impressively at every stage of the commerce journey.\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559739&quot;:160,&quot;335559740&quot;:301}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Agentic AI is transforming\u00a0<\/span><i><span data-contrast=\"auto\">everything<\/span><\/i><span data-contrast=\"auto\">. Of course, planning and forecasting benefit greatly from it. We see the impact it can have every day in our work analyzing logistics, product and customer data points far faster than would be physically possible. But it\u2019s also being used at the other end of the journey, supporting frontline staff to offer meaningful, elevated customer moments. <\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559739&quot;:160,&quot;335559740&quot;:301}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">At LVMH and Louis Vuitton\u2019s keynote session, we heard how luxury brands use AI to amplify creativity (e.g\u00a0cutting the amount of time it takes to test and choose materials), as well as providing the human touch. And what an impact it can have. President of Shopify, Harley Finkelstein, highlighted the exponential growth in AI-driven orders on the e-commerce site with a 14x increase since January 2025.<\/li>\n<li>Stores: The role of physical stores is evolving into multi-purpose hubs \u2013 not just for creating experiences with technologies like AR,\u00a0VR\u00a0and spatial computing but\u00a0as\u00a0community hotspots, fulfillment\u00a0points\u00a0and data capture environments.<\/li>\n<li>Staff:\u00a0AI partners, task\u00a0automation\u00a0and frictionless workflows are freeing up frontline staff to interact meaningfully with customers. This is\u00a0arguably not\u00a0an entirely new trend: we see in our own work how enabling and empowering\u00a0shop floor\u00a0teams with the data to make decisions\u00a0in\u00a0the moment can pay dividends.
