Newton at the Housing Community Summit 2025

About us

We are a strategic delivery partner to local government and housing associations, delivering transformation which improves outcomes for residents and tenants while creating financially resilient, thriving, and better-connected organisations.

We support with the significant and immediate challenges of today, and reimagine for the future, centred around improving housing operations, reducing homelessness and temporary accommodation, and developing new finance models for growth – all enabled by the innovative use of data, digital and AI. In doing so, our programmes improve tenant safety, satisfaction, and outcomes while helping organisations to rebalance and create the headroom to build, develop, and sustainably grow.

About our work

Housing operations

Our work supports housing associations and local authorities who are:

  • looking to realise benefits from previous mergers or have outdated or ineffective operating models.
  • preparing for inspections or wanting to respond to changes in regulation/focus from the regulator.
  • seeking to improve overall financial performance while protecting and improving resident experience.

Our work with social landlords is focused on achieving the right balance between tenant satisfaction, quality of homes, and cost to serve. As a result, our previous programmes have:

  • increased repairs productivity, which in turn reduces wait times, improves customer satisfaction and results in better quality homes.
  • reduced duration of voids through creating shared accountability between lettings and repairs teams, meaning people are housed quicker and there is a reduction in income loss.
  • increased time spent with residents, meaning social landlords better understand their needs and can pro-actively support residents.

We’re focused on making limited resources go further and providing financial headroom to enable longer term, sustainable growth.

Homelessness

Alongside Xantura, who specialise in the ethical use of local authority and partner data to identify local residents at risk of crisis (including homelessness), our work supports local authorities to:

  • reduce presentations through the innovative use of prevention, early identification, and evidence-based interventions.
  • improve their procurement and commissioning approach for temporary accommodation at a local authority level, enabling a reduction in average cost of nightly paid accommodation.
  • consider collaboration within regions (or with alternate providers).
  • improve the delivery of the housing needs service – including productivity and decision-making to reduce the number of people given temporary accommodation.
  • collaborate with registered providers and third sector organisations to reduce the length of stay of individuals within temporary accommodation.
