We’ll be outside for the whole weekend, so please prepare for the weather. Whilst we hope for a nice warm weekend and sunshine, anything is possible, so pack waterproofs, suncream and glasses, and enough layers. Please bring a water bottle on Saturday to stay hydrated throughout the day — we’ll have a water station on site for you to top up.
This is a fun weekend – so no laptops required! We would encourage you to bring your phone and favourite this website so you can look up information and maps.
There is lots of walking, and outside space, so comfortable shoes are a must. Even for Saturday night, we’d recommend comfort as you’ll be on your feet a lot!
Saturday evening will have limited cloakroom space. For all other times over the weekend, please plan to hold onto your own belongings.
Throughout the weekend, due to the size of the event and number of people attending, we’ll be following strict security precautions, including bag checks. To help with this and to keep entry moving quickly, please bring only essential items with you.
Casual. A more relaxed evening, with line dancing and fair ground games. If you want to enjoy the bucking broncho, dress appropriately…
Casual wear and comfy shoes or sportswear and trainers – please pack extra as you may need to have a change of clothes due to weather. Don’t forget hats and sunscreen. Waterproof clothing is likely to be a must.
Smart. Ultimately, we want you to have a great night and to wear whatever makes you feel your best, but we’d encourage you to wear something you might wear for a summer ball, a suit or national dress. Many people will be in a suit or black tie, or a dress that is knee length or full length. There will be some cover available, but it is outside.The college has a mix of cobbles, some grass, and paths, so if you want to wear heels, stilettos probably aren’t advisable. Plenty of people will choose to wear flat shoes as you will be on your feet most of the evening.
