When you arrive in Oxford, head to your accommodation to check in from 4pm.

Friday 14th August (evening)
From 5:30pm, we’d love you to bring your partner and/or children and join us for a relaxed, joy-filled start to the weekend. Set in the grounds of Keble College and St Hugh’s Sports Ground, we’ll kick things off with a summer festival–style evening focused on connection, celebration and simply enjoying time together.
Later in the evening, grab your headphones as the Newton DJs battle with the professional DJ for your attention at the silent disco.

Saturday 15th August (Daytime)
Grab breakfast at your accommodation, then the celebrations continue based at the grounds of Keble College and St Hugh’s Sports Ground, and around Oxford, on Saturday from 10am with a host of fun, inclusive activities for you, your partner and family to enjoy together. Whether your idea of fun is crafting, team sports, relaxing or cheering on others, you can expect energy, teamwork and plenty of laughter, with a wide range of options so everyone can take part in a way that suits them.
To reflect our Newton group focus on teamwork and collaboration, everyone will be part of one of our four ‘houses’ for the weekend which will be allocated to you via your calendar invite. Every activity you take part in, whether bracelet making or bouncing on the bouncy castle will earn you points for your house – so get involved and support your team in the leaderboard!
We’ll be publishing more timings and some sign-ups for capacity limited activities as we get nearer the time. A sample of some of the activities include:
From 4pm, head back to your accommodation to rest, and get changed ahead of the evening.

Saturday 15th August (Evening)
Please note: you’ll need your wristband for entry, so keep it on throughout the weekend. You’ll also need to bring photo ID, as all bars will be operating Challenge 25.
From 7pm, we’ll gather at the iconic Exeter College for the Newton Summer Ball. With live bands, great food and a stunning setting, it’s an opportunity to celebrate everything Newton has been, everything we are today, and the exciting future ahead. This part of the event is for adults only, with offsite childcare available.
We wanted to host this event somewhere special, that most of us will never have been – so we are embracing the history of Oxford with a Newton version of a College Commemoration Ball. The Oxford Commemoration Balls trace back to 1856, as an end-of-year period honouring founders and benefactors. Our version will be a celebration to honour our last 25 years, and to look forward to the next!
To start the evening, we will have a drinks reception, and welcome speech. You are then free to spend your time how you wish! A one-way system around the college will be in operation, with plentiful signage!
Food will be available throughout the night. It is not a sit down meal – you can grab food when it suits you best. Food stalls will be available in the Margary Quadrangle. Water stalls will be throughout the venue, and bars will offer a range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.

Enjoy a relaxed breakfast at your accommodation, check out and head home!
